Amanbir Kaur/Louise Tornberg

516.316.4911, LTornberg@tweezerman.com

My name is Louise Tornberg (aka Amanbir Kaur). I was born in London and grew up in Jersey in the Channel Islands (near France). I left home just before my 17th birthday & traveled the world. I arrived in New York in 1986   the 100th anniversary of the Statue of Liberty. I was immediately in love. It was beautiful to see all walks of life living on this gleaming island   always beautiful, but sometimes dark & angry. I felt at home here, but never felt at home within myself. I was also dark & angry Addictions & depression were ever present, never felt at peace   lonely and lost for a long time in Gotham City.. Then, out of the blue (literally) I was introduced to a Kundalini yoga class at the office where I work. The experience was very profound. For the first time, I felt what happiness & peace must be like. Even though I was a single parent of two teenage boys and had a full time job, I was certain in my belief in this sacred technology. I enrolled in a 1 year course at Kundalini Yoga East on Broadway and studied there every Saturday & Sunday. Apart from my two sons Dylan & Cole, it was the best thing that had ever happened to me. If I can help just one person to have the same experience with Kundalini Yoga, then my job is done. I look forward to being a conduit for the teachings brought to the West by Yogi Bhajan.

Because of her Yoga practice, she was able to enjoy labor and delivery without any drugs. After having had the amazing experience of being pregnant and giving birth, Jessica decided to become a prenatal yoga instructor in order to help pregnant women attain the high level of satisfaction in child birth that she had experienced due to her yoga practice.
